What is "Collective Minds"?

Is a community based organizaton that not only support the proliferation of House Music, but supports and raises money for our community and local charities. We are a fairly young organization but you can look forward to many good things from Collective Minds.

Can I Join?

Anyone 18 and older can become a member of Collective Minds. Our annual dues are $100. Please see the "Contact Us" page for more information.

Can I attend the festival without joining?

Everyone is welcome to attend the Festival. The Collective Minds Festival is open to all adults and their children. This is both a community and family affair.

What is the recommend hotel?

This year our hosting hotel is the elegant Peabody Court Hotel, 612 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. This historic landmark is centrally located in the heart of Baltimore City.

Experience a world-class hotel with luxury amenities that include beautiful spacious rooms, marble European styled bathrooms with heated towel warmers, mini refrigerators, data-ports, bar and grill, fitness center and more. Best of all our hosting hotel is just minutes away from some of Baltimore’s best attractions that include the Walters Art Gallery, the Inner Harbor and of course most of the venues that are planned for the Collective Mind Festival weekend.

Shuttle service will also be provided the day of the picnic to and from the park. We have rooms blocked for our festival for a very discounted price of $129/per night and that includes the hotel’s double, queen and king rooms.

The dates that we have blocked are Thursday, July 31 – Sunday, August 3. Check in is at 3:00 pm. Call now because these rooms will only be reserved at this rate until June 30, 2008. A credit card is required to hold your reservation. Please call 1-800-295-5500 to make your reservation today and ask for the Collective Mind’s House Music Festival.

We advise parking on the street after Friday night since the city’s parking ordinance in that area is not in effect after Friday evening.

Use I-95 south to I 695 West (exit 33). Go to I-83 south (exit 23)
Use I-83 south to Druid Park Lake Drive (exit 7-A). Follow into park at your third traffic light. Turn right into park, look for Chinese Pavilion.

Hartford/ Cecil Co. Use I-95 south to I 695 West (exit 33). Go to I-83 south (exit 23) to Druid Park Lake Drive (exit 7-A). Follow to third traffic light. Turn right into park, then look for Chinese Pavilion.

Eastern Shore. Use US50/301 across Bay Bridge to I-97 north to Baltimore (exit 21). Go to I 695 (exit 17 Towson). I-695 to I south (exit 23) to Druid Park Lake Drive (exit 7-A). Follow to third traffic light. Turn right into park, then look for Chinese Pavilion.

West Virginia/ Fredrick: Use I-68 to I-70 to I-695 east (exit 91-A Towson). Go to I-83 south (exit 23) to Druid Park Lake Drive (exit 7-A). Follow to third traffic light. Turn right into park, then look for Chinese Pavilion.

Annapolis/ Southern Maryland: Use US 301 to I-97. Change over north to Baltimore to I-695 west (exit 17 Towson). Go to I-83 south (exit 23) to Druid Park Lake Drive (exit 7-A). Follow to third traffic light. Turn right into park, then look for Chinese Pavilion.
